Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011 and is best known for her character Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward the teen drama comedy television show. Tarlov is the eldest daughter of two, and was born in Manhattan. At the age of 10-years-old, she began her career as an actor in the production Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th students who saw the production were very impressed. The actress studied in Paris at NYU Tisch, and spent the summers of her teens at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She studied a variety types of theatre. The Atlantic Theater Company also helped her to become a professional and she was able to integrate writing in to her performance in her LAByrinth Theater Masters Course. Molly switched her dark jacket for a black pair of sunglasses, before going to Los Angeles. Her parents were awestruck when she landed a role with just three words iCarly. Molly has been on a variety of TV shows and has created Caitlin for Winnie Holzman as well as Savannah Dooley in ABC Family's Huge. Molly loves to pretend she's a pro in basketball even though this isn't the case. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
