April Lockhart
April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 In seventh grade she began playing guitar and taking piano lessons, sparking her passion for music writing. at the age of 12, April wrote her first song Different. At the age of 14, April devoted much of her time writing and practicing songs. After a while, she began to go on trips with her dad and to write songs at home in NY and LA. April started to include other subjects in the book, Take My Hand, for the people in her life who are struggling with peer pressure, disabilities or even suicidal thoughts. Lockhart collaborates with the well-known clean beauty brand Ilia as well as a lifestyle influencer with a huge following of her own. She was not born with a left-hand, which is what makes her what she is. But that's far from the whole story. The profile of Lockhart on Instagram does not cover up her disability, but it does not focus solely on her disability. What message does it convey? The message? We have many different aspects, that our physical and identity selves are not all that they appear. Lockhart in a video messages from his Nashville home, says that I don't wish for this to define me. I'm much more than my physical self. My day-today life is not dependent on it. I live my normal, everyday life and find my own solutions to problems. However, it's a component of me, so I believe it's important to talk about. Lockhart is a true source of inspiration for self-acceptance in general she is on a long journey to achieve this. Lockhart admits to having had periods where she was uncomfortable wearing certain clothing styles which showed her arms. She is able to wear anything she'd like, and is proud to share photos of herself wearing these clothes. The journey itself is the most important thing. I'm not certain that you ever arrive she says of self-love. It's a long journey. I'm not sure you'll ever get there. I believe having friends with you who understand you and can see the depths of your soul is vital as they'll be the ones who will remind you what you worrying about?
