Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kannakaredes was born in New York city. She's played the roles of Dr. Sydney Hansen (NBC) and The Resident's Dr. Lane Hunter (The Resident), both medical dramas on TV. The actress also won acclaim for her breakthrough television debut role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. Her notable film appearances include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life is an autobiography by Elisabeth Kubler Ross. Vlas Parlapanides, who also wrote Immortals and is reportedly working together with her on the film adaptation. The actress is also working on a new television series titled Gods & Heroes.
